Christmas in NYC

This year Christmas was a bit of a downer for me. Mark is deployed, it was Maddie's year to be with her dad, my mom fell and broke her hip and her shoulder... I was really not in the spirit to celebrate.

But my silver lining this year came in the form of the dirty, angry, bustling pile of concrete known as New York City. I love NY and was thrilled to be able to catch up with an old friend for a few days over the break.

 The grocery stores have baskets with wheels and I was fascinated by them. I wonder when Wegman's will catch on to this....
